Poker Aces – discover how to gamble them
Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt pre-flop. It is the strongest attainable pre-flop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But despite this a good many players find themselves on the wrong end when given this hand.
When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t fold before theflop. You’re positioned with the greatest possible hand at this stage of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say no to that.
Bear in mind, you are looking to earn as much money from this strong position. You will want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will actually drive most competitors into folding without making a bet.
If you are in the starting position (first or 2nd to bet), you will make a single bet. Anybody with a good hand will call, hopefully a player will raise. If there has been a raise do not jump to re-raise or call, wait for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
Following the flop your plan will be to get rid of anybody that might be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you’re lucky you will fool one player into thinking that you’re bluffing.
If you are in the middle or later seat (near the last to place a bet) you will observe as everyone calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing others to fold after the flop. If you do not force out your adversaries you chance squandering your hand.
