Horrible Luck in Poker

[ English ]

For a match where most enthusiasts occasionally consider fortune, there are tonnes of superstitions in poker. When you mention that someone was blessed in that poker tournament they captured, be careful of how you mention it. For instance, if you say that you were unfortunate, your luck may never change.

Ok, that may appear to be a bit ubsurd, but poker is a casino game loaded with superstitions. Did you realize that if you’re wagering a game with 2 seperate decks and you are asked to choose the deck, you should always pick the deck of cards that’s the furthest away from you? Or, how about If you get a streak of bad cards, you must hang out on a hankerchief to destroy your bad luck? It’s certainly considered good fortune to blow through a deck of cards while they are being mixed up.

A few other interesting poker folklores are:

  • You can alter the run of cards by going around your chair three times.
  • The luckiest chair at the poker table looks at the door.
  • The most detrimental spot has its back to a fireplace.
  • When altering seats, you need to constantly do so following the clock.
  • The unluckiest poker card is the four of clubs.
  • It is very unlucky to cross your legs when sitting at the poker table.
  • Monday is a awful day for wagering on cards.
  • The thirteenth is also a bad day, despite when it falls.
