Before you Tilt
Ah, the tilt. If a poker enthusiast claims never to have stared faced over the shadow of a looming tilt – they are either lying or they have not been playing for a long time. This does not mean obviously that every player has gone on steam before, a few players have awesome control and take their losses as a hit and leave it at that. To be a brilliant poker player, it is absolutely important to approach your successes and your losses in a similar way – with no emotion. You compete in the game in the same manner you did following a hard loss as you would after winning a big hand. Many of the poker pros are not charmed by tilting following a horrible beat as they are highly accomplished and you really should be to.
You must understand that you can’t win every hand you are in, even if you are the front runner. Hands that normally make players to go on tilt are hands you were the favorite or at a minimum thought you were until you were hit and you burned a gigantic chunk of your stack. Awful losses are going to develop.
