Newcomer Tactics for Pai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in a fantastic game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the house, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers wager against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about any other, more advanced gamblers taking their mulla.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, newcomers are able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make quick selections.
It’s also easier to play for a long time with just a small bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is assigned seven cards faces showing and the house is dealt 7 cards face down.
One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
