Newcomer Strategy for Pai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the dealer, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By gambling against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about other, more advanced players taking their $$$$.
One more Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, beginners are able to take their time and plan while not having to make frenzied decisions.
It’s also much simpler to bet on for an extended time with just a tiny amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the dealer receives seven cards face down.
One 5 card hand and a two card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
